Sail you must - shipyard on a mountain

Guided by the saying: "High in the mountains and far out on the open sea you can't run into a bad man" academic sculptor and music troupe Cinkusi succeded in connecting the North and South, the sea and the mountain, "Kaj" and "Ca".
724 meters above the sea, on Zagrebacka gora, in the mountain lodge Risnjak, a new shipyard was opened. A dreamer, a "kalafat" (traditional master - Shipbuilders in wood), a lighthouse keeper and an eternal lover of the sea Zeljko Belic exhibited his fleet of braceras, gajetas and trabakuls and guided us into the Porto franco (Free port).
His emphasized shift from  modeling literalism and strictness of miniature replication of shape, provided a space for creative play to the visitors of the exhibition and workshop participants and gave them a new perception of the anthropomorphic structure of the ships.
Music troupe Cinkusi left it’s little native “kajkavian” island and sailed the Komiza falkusa by creating music for beautiful verses of Josko Bozanic, which were released on their last album “Spiritus Sanctus”.
With energetic performance of remade folk songs and their own origirnal songs, tey raised the temperature of numerous hikers and sailors.
When performing Krleza ballad, they were joined by Petrica Kerempuh himself – Davor Persic (Trilja IV), an artist/juggler/jester that performed his burlesque with  juggling and mime.
Mountain lodge Risnjak, separated form the main Sljeme roads, sailed on the good vibrations like a happy steamer… it had to navigate!!! (Navigare necesse est!!!)
